I modified the current ODBC driver for * referential integrity error reporting, * SELECT in transactions and * disabling autocommit. I tested these changes with Borland C++ Builder -> ODBCExpress -> WinODBC driver (DLL) -> Postgres 7.0beta1 and Borland C++ Builder -> BDE -> WinODBC driver (DLL) -> Postgres 7.0beta1. The patch is based on snapshot of 22th April (I don't think that someone has modified it since that: Byron hasn't gave any sign of living for about a month and I didn't find any comments about the ODBC driver on the list).	25 years ago

A summary is: - Various files use "//" as a comment delimiter in c files. - Problems caused by assuming "char" is signed. cash.in: building -signed the rules regression test fails as described in FAQ_QNX4. If CHAR_MAX is "255U" then ((signed char)CHAR_MAX) is -1. postmaster.c: random number regression test failed without this change. - Some generic build issues and warning message cleanup. Thomas G. Lockhart	1eab86e26d	Update source code to Byron's v6.30.0250 sources plus minor cleanup ... to get rid of unused variables. Get clean compile on Linux (Thomas and Gerald). Implement autoconf/configure for standalone builds and use the existing autoconf/configure system when in the Postgres source tree. Code tests and functions with ApplixWare-4.4.1beta on a Linux box.
