Sandeep Sukhani	97a7ed0b61	fix logs deletion integration test to properly validate deleted data (#7751 ) What this PR does / why we need it: Currently, the integration test for deletion does not validate whether the delete request properly deleted the requested data or not. It just currently checks if the delete request got processed. This was due to the singleton `boltdb-shipper` client causing problems in flushing chunks. I have used `ResetBoltDBIndexClientWithShipper` to reset the boltdb-shipper client to get the chunk flush from the ingester working. The test now does the checks to ensure that the right data got deleted by the compactor. This should help us catch any bugs earlier for any future changes in deletion code. Sandeep Sukhani	d3e42959a5	fix bugs in processing delete requests with line filters and add proper tests (#7720 ) What this PR does / why we need it: It fixes the following issues: * Whole chunks being deleted with a line filter were skipped. * Chunks partially covered by delete requests with a line filter were not properly processed. The part that was not covered by the delete request was rewritten with a line filter, while the part that was covered by the delete request was completely deleted. The issue went unnoticed because it seems we continue to do query time filtering of data even after the delete requests are processed. Which issue(s) this PR fixes: Fixes #7590 Special notes for your reviewer: If multiple delete requests with a line filter touch the same chunk, then I am considering just the first request that marks it for deletion to keep this PR simple. Karsten Jeschkies	bd879498ad	Serialize query JSON response in a stream. (#7721 ) What this PR does / why we need it: Previously the query response was converted to `loghttp.ResultValue`. This requires a lot of allocations. Furthermore, the JSON response string was allocated before it was written to the response writer. This changes replaces the conversion from `parser.Value` to `loghttp.ResultValue` with a hand written JSON stream. Omitting this field the same way we can already omit `user_data` and `event_data` can easily save a lot of bytes of data per event - Event ID 4264 alone has ~2KB of just text that is already present in `event_data`. Matthias Kunnen	aa0bec4786	Promtail docs: Fix docker stage code example (#7653 ) The current, 2.6.x, documentation on [configuring promtail _pipeline_stages_](https://grafana.com/docs/loki/latest/clients/promtail/configuration/#pipeline_stages) contains a [docker stage](https://grafana.com/docs/loki/latest/clients/promtail/configuration/#docker) which wraps the json, labels, timestamp, and output stage. The unwrapped configuration is shown as example. However, this example is outdated as can be seen by the lack of `expressions`. I have stumbled across this as I tried the example in my own config as a starter to modify to my own needs. It took me some time to realize what `failed to make file target manager: invalid json stage config: JMES expression is required` meant. This PR updates the example to match the current code at <`a6df09bc97/clients/pkg/logentry/stages/extensions.go (L16-L42)`> Going back in history points to #576 as the origin of the divergence.	3 years ago
